How It Works

From office action to filing-ready, in seven passes.

The same sequence every time, so nothing gets skipped under a deadline.

  1. 1

    Deadline math.

We date the response first. The three-month date, the extendable date, and what an extension costs. Nothing else starts until the clock is on the page.

  2. 2

    Rejection map.

Every ground, claim by claim. §102, §103, §112, §101, double patenting, restriction, and every objection. Nothing goes unanswered.

  3. 3

    Reconcile the claim set.

We line up the claims as they stood on the date of this office action, not a live pull. That way no filed amendment leaks in and the set is the one the examiner actually rejected.

  4. 4

    Verify every cited reference.

We pull each reference and check it against the limitation it was mapped to. A citation that does not actually teach the limitation is where a lot of rejections fall apart, and where a lot of responses miss.

  5. 5

    Strength read.

We call each ground honestly. Strong, weak, or truly taught. The weak ones we argue. The taught ones we amend, with pinpoint spec support and no new matter.

  6. 6

    Draft in filing format.

Amendments to the Claims with status identifiers, Remarks that answer every ground, and a Conclusion. The paper is shaped the way it files.

  7. 7

    Adversarial QA.

We attack our own draft before you do. Does the amendment survive the art. Does every ground have an answer. Does anything overreach. Then it goes to you.

The Package

What lands on your desk.

Three documents, every time: the filing-format response, the rationale memo, and the verification ledger. Each one stamped DRAFT · NOT FOR FILING until you adopt it.

Timing

Fast enough for the date you are staring at.

Standard turnaround is five business days from a complete intake. Need it sooner. Expedited turnaround of two business days is available for a surcharge. Close to a deadline, tell us the date and we will tell you straight whether we can hit it. We would rather turn a matter down than hand you something late.

How This Stays Clean

The boundary.

We are your drafting and research vendor. We prepare the response as supervised work product. You review it, you sign it, you file it, and you carry the professional responsibility for it. We do not contact the USPTO, we do not contact your client, and we do not hold the work out as legal advice. That line is what keeps this clear of the unauthorized practice of law, and we hold it hard.
