Is this the unauthorized practice of law.
No. We are your drafting and research vendor and the work is supervised work product. You review, sign, and file it, and you carry the professional responsibility. We never contact the USPTO or your client and never hold the work out as legal advice.
Who signs and files.
You do. Everything we hand you is stamped DRAFT · NOT FOR FILING until you adopt it. Nothing goes to the office without your signature.
What about my client's confidential materials.
We treat every office action and matter file as confidential. We do not sell it and do not share it. We work from the public record unless you supply privileged material, and then only to serve the response.
What if you think the rejection is correct.
We tell you. If a limitation is truly taught by the art, we will not argue it into the ground. We amend with pinpoint spec support and no new matter, or we tell you plainly that there is no response worth filing.
How fast.
Standard turnaround is five business days from a complete intake, with a two-business-day expedited option for a surcharge. Near a deadline, send the date and we will give you a straight yes or no on hitting it.
How do you price an office action with more than one thing in it.
By the most substantial action in it, with the rest folded in. A restriction with objections is priced as a Restriction. Rejections with objections are a Non-Final. The Objection price is for an action that is only objections. One office action, one line item.
Do you handle final rejections and restrictions.
Yes. Non-final, final, restriction, and objections. Final responses include the after-final math and the RCE, AFCP, and appeal posture read.
Will an AI draft anchor me into a bad argument.
That risk is exactly why the verification ledger and the weak-argument flags come first, not last. The package is built to be checked, and to make each mapped limitation easy to check. You are meant to catch us. Most of the time there is nothing to catch, and when there is, it is on the top of the page.
